It’s a wrap! Tied with a beautiful big bow and filled with memories, joy, music, love, friendship, laughter and soooo much Christmas spirit.
So the tour concluded last night in mine and Chris W’s hometown of Penistone at the fabulous Paramount. We felt so much joy tinged with a little sadness that it was all over for another year. We were super delighted and excited that our dear friends Will and Taz came to the gig on their way from Devon to Glasgow as Will (Thomas) is the creator of our beautiful screens that have been with us since our very first tour when he was our lighting engineer. They are so precious to us, we would be a naked Aggie without them!
So a thousand thanks to our brilliant Aggie family, Jil Barke, Richard Harrison, Will Kerr and Ed Day for all their hard work, skills, dedication to the show and tour, good nature, fine company and precious friendship. We really couldn’t do this without you all. Time for some well earned r&r with your ‘other’ families now!
And so the three of us thank all you lovely people who came and made this the best tour ever. 23 years of Christmas magic and here’s to the next one!
Before I sign off this last tour blog I’d like to wish Chris W a very happy birthday. Aaaaaand relax!
Happy New Year everyone
